- Walk the property to check overall security of the home and grounds
- Inspect garage and exterior storage areas
- Exterior Condition
- Visually inspect exterior walls, roof, and gutters (from the ground)
- Check irrigation system and landscaping for potential issues
- Inspect pool, lanai, and patio areas for proper condition
- Mail & Deliveries
- Collect mail from the mailbox
- Remove newspapers, flyers, and solicitations
- Lighting & Safety
- Check all exterior lighting for proper operation
- Replace or report bulbs or fixtures as necessary
- Pest & Environmental
- Look for visible signs of pest, insect, or rodent activity
- Water Systems
- Turn on the main water valve upon arrival and shut it off after inspection to help prevent leaks

What we check during every visit:
- Air Conditioning
- Verify correct temperature and humidity levels
- Inspect and replace filters monthly (if left on site)
- Doors & Windows
- Ensure all entry points are locked and secure
- Inspect doors, windows, ceilings, and floors for leaks or water damage
- Plumbing
- Check for leaks in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry area
- Flush toilets, run faucets, and operate sink disposal
- Appliances & Systems
- Confirm refrigerator and freezer are operating properly
- Test internet/WiFi signal
- Pest & Environmental
- Look for signs of pest, insect, or rodent activity
- Inspect for mold or mildew growth
- Electrical
- Check the circuit panel for tripped breakers
- Visually inspect electrical system
- Confirm hot water heater breaker is off
- Security
- Arm your security system upon departure
